I am Iñigo Ortubia. I am passionate about  design. Particularly, I am interested in control and mechanical design

I hold and MSc in mechanical engineering from the Eindhoven University, located in the Netherlands. I have graduated in the Constructions and Mechanisms department, where I have carried several design projects for the semiconductor industry.

I have developed a deep understanding on design principles for precision systems. The semiconductor industry constantly demands systems with an increasing performance in order to further reduce the gap between transistors present in microchips. Therefore, I have gathered knowledge on design principles and successfully applied them into mechanism design projects.

Besides from mechanical design skills, I have a deep knowledge in control theory. I believe that in order to truly exploit a good mechanical design, proper control strategies need to be applied. Therefore, during my master´s I minored in motion control theory.

Currently I am looking to further develop my career.
